ASSEMBLE & ATTACH BEADS

NOTE:  You can use any kind of bead type item you prefer.  See photo below for some ideas.

Fold your TREE strip back & forth (starting at TOP with TRIM side UP) making each layer a little longer.

NOTE:  An even number of folds works best for adding beads.  See photo above for reference.

After TREE is shaped, push LONG darning needle through all layers to secure it (until done adding beads).

Thread long piece of matching yarn (used in Row 1) through eye of another darning needle & knot 1st bead with using yarn tails or make big enough knot so yarn won’t pull through bead hole.

NOTE:  You can use 1 or 2 strands of yarn, whichever you prefer.

Starting at bottom of tree, push needle through center of first 2 layers.

NOTE:  Be careful not to pull too tight or beads may get visually lost in between layers.

*Put next bead on threaded needle & push through middle of next 2 layers.*  Repeat for every 2 layers to top.

After attaching top bead, knot yarn at top of bead, form a hanging loop, knot yarn at top of bead again, feed needle back through all beads to bottom.  Knot yarn at base of bottom bead, cut even all tails even and leave as a little tassel.
