Monthly Free Pattern: May Flower Coaster

Updated: Feb 13

The “May Flower Coaster” pattern is also available as a premium PDF download on Ravelry.

These adorable 100% cotton May Flower Coasters will be great addition to your Spring & Summer décor!

The May Flower Coaster is adorable in solid colors or with the center in one color & the petals in another color … or mix them up to make a set!

They are quick & easy to whip up. They would make great housewarming or hostess gifts!

Materials ➤ Yarn: 100% Cotton – # 4 / Worsted Weight (Such as Lily Sugar ‘n Cream.) ➤ Yardage: 20 – 30 yds per coaster ➤ Hooks: 5.0 mm ➤ Stitch Markers ➤ Scissors ➤ Darning Needle

Stitches & Abbreviations US Terminology ➤ * * = Repeat stitch pattern between * * ➤ Ch# = Chain number of times specified ➤ St/Sts = Stitch/Stitches ➤ SS = Slip Stitch ➤ SC = Single Crochet ➤ HDC = Half Double Crochet ➤ DC = Double Crochet ➤ TR = Treble Crochet

Notes & Special Instructions ➤ Chains at beginning of a round/row NEVER count as a stitch. ➤ Total number of stitches per round/row in (#) at end. ➤ I tend to crochet TIGHT, so you may need to adjust your hook size to accommodate. ➤ I prefer to use the Chainless Beginning DC at the beginning of DC rows/rounds.  Therefore, there will be NO Chain instructions on those rows. The first stitch in these rows/rounds will be noted as a regular DC. Use the method you prefer for the 1st stitch of these rows/rounds. ➤ I suggest using the invisible join for a seamless look when finishing off. Heart Hook Home video tutorial for Invisible Join

Gauge:  13 DC x 7 Rows (Not Critical)
