This textured cloth will work great as a Dishcloth or a Washcloth. It’s great texture comes from Front Post stitches with Back-Bar & Third Loop Only techniques.

Notes & Special Instructions:
▸ Each round will end with a “Ch1, SC in 1st st of Rnd.” It will position you to start the 1 st half of the corner for the next round. ▸ Don’t miss the 1 st st after each corner. It gets crowded out & can be hard to see/find. ▸ This pattern is worked in ROUNDS. Do NOT turn throughout entire pattern. ▸ Ch 1 at beginning of the round does NOT count as a stitch. ▸ Number of stitches per side & total round count are in (#) at end of each round. ▸ I tend to crochet TIGHT, so you may need to adjust your hook size to accommodate. Gauge is not critical. ▸ I prefer to use the Chainless Beginning DC at the beginning of DC rows/rounds. I use this same technique for beginning FPDC & BPDC. Therefore, t here will be NO Chain instructions on those rows. The first stitch in these rows/rounds will be noted as a regular DC/FPDC/BPDC. Rnd 1: | REMINDER: Pattern is written using a chainless beginning DC. Use your preferred method for the 1st DC. In MC: 3 DC, Ch2. Repeat 2 more times. 3 DC, Ch1, SC in 1st st of Rnd. (3 sts per side = 12 sts + corner spaces) |
